Warm Beer Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 2 Tbsp AP Flour
- 6 oz Lager Beer
- ½ C Half & Half
- 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- ½ tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 ½ C Black Creek Shredded Sharp Yellow Cheddar Cheese
Directions
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the flour and cook until foamy, about 2 minutes. (Making a roux.)
- Gradually whisk in the beer until the mixture is smooth, then add the half and half. Simmer until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Whisk in the mustard, Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt. Gradually add the cheese continuing to whisk until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
