Citrus Pear Lemon Cake

Ingredients
- 1 Lemon Cake (prepared)
- 5 ea. Bosc Pear Slices
- 5 ea. Green Apple Slices
- 1 Tbsp Goat Cheese Honey Icing (sub recipe)
- 1/4 C DairyStar Aerosol Whipped Topping
- 2 Tbsp Toasted Walnuts
- 1/4 tsp Orange Zest
- 2 tsp Honey
- Goat Cheese Honey Icing:
- 10.5 oz Montchevre Goat Log Plain 10.5 oz
- 1/2 stick Unsalted Butter
- 2 C Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 Tbsp Saputo Whole Milk as needed
Directions
- Place a slice of lemon cake on a plate and shingle bosc pear slices and green apple slices on top.
- Drizzle goat cheese honey icing (sub recipe) over the fruit.
- Top with DairyStar Aerosol Whipped Topping.
- Garnish with walnuts, orange zest, and honey drizzle.
- Goat Cheese Honey icing:
- Beat goat cheese and unsalted butter in a stand mixer with a paddle attachment until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, kosher salt, and honey. Mix to combine.
- Add whole milk as needed until the icing is pourable, but not too runny.
- Transfer to a storage container until ready to use.
