Emboldened by a rich Amish heritage, The Salemville Cheese Cooperative, in conjunction with a Wisconsin-area Amish community, operates a small-batch production facility, working exclusively with fresh milk delivered daily from small dairy cattle herds, milked by hand on Wisconsin farms.
The artistry of the Salemville® Brand cheesemaking process results in a gently handled cheese and loosely packed curd, for a finished cheese that is rich with veining and resulting in pungent flavor and aroma.
